Marysville Drakes Edge Dublin Leprechauns 3-2

July 27 2024 The Marysville Drakes defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 3-2 at Bryant Field. Marysville finished with 10 hits and no errors while Dublin collected six hits and committed three errors.

Dublin scored once in the first inning and again in the sixth. Marysville answered with two runs in the fourth and held on for the one-run victory. The Drakes were led by M. Walker, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI. J. Starick added two hits, while D. Peterson and C. Harmond each scored a run.

Jayden Drake earned the win after throwing a scoreless inning with one hit allowed. S. Patsy started for Marysville and allowed one run on two hits over five innings, striking out two. K. Petersen and S. Hanson each worked a scoreless inning, and B. Krolikowski also pitched a scoreless frame.

Dublin starter B. Theriot delivered eight innings, allowing two runs on seven hits with one walk and five strikeouts. B. Moreno took the loss after allowing one run on three hits in 1.1 innings. C. Evans went 2-for-4 with one RBI for the Leprechauns, and D. Gardiner also drove in a run.
