Pacifics Blank Drakes Behind Parnow

July 6 2024 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Marysville Drakes 2-0 at Albert Park, scoring both of their runs in the fifth inning. San Rafael finished with two hits and one error, while Marysville collected four hits without committing an error.

Eric Parnow earned the win for San Rafael with seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out 10. Caleb Davis worked a scoreless eighth, and Karon Casey closed the game with a scoreless ninth for the save. Sergio Patsy took the loss for Marysville despite allowing only two runs on two hits over eight innings; he struck out eight and walked two.

Braxton King provided the decisive offense for the Pacifics, going 1-for-3 with two RBIs. John Bicos also went 1-for-3 with a double, while Aki Buckson and Chris Blyskal scored San Rafaels runs. Marysvilles four hits came from Jumpei Ohashi, Drake Ayala, Joe Starick and Caleb Harmond.
