Drakes Use Five Run Sixth to Defeat Leprechauns 10-6

May 31 2024 The Marysville Drakes scored five runs in the sixth inning and defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 10-6 at Bryant Field. Marysville collected 19 hits and overcame a 6-4 deficit after four innings, adding another run in the seventh to secure the victory. Dublin finished with six hits and one error, while the Drakes committed one error.

Third baseman T. Latham led Marysville with four hits and three runs scored. Catcher J. Leslie also collected four hits and drove in two runs, while shortstop Jumpei Ohashi contributed two hits and three RBI. D. Ayala added three hits, and J. Smith had two hits and two runs. For Dublin, A. Stayte had two hits and two RBI, and J. Williams went 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Bradley Thomas earned the win after allowing one hit and no runs in 2.1 innings, striking out one and walking four. D. Stimpson followed with two scoreless innings and one strikeout. Dublin starter N. Camacho allowed eight hits and four runs, three earned, in 3.2 innings. Tavon Gibbs took the loss after giving up two runs in 1.2 innings, while Ricardo Garza allowed four runs in one inning. Cutter Green finished with 1.2 scoreless innings for the Leprechauns.
