Marysville Drakes Rout Dublin Leprechauns 18-4

July 16 2023 The Marysville Drakes defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 18-4 behind an 18-hit attack at Bryant Field. Marysville broke open a close game with 10 runs in the third inning and added four more in the fourth before scoring twice in the eighth. Dublin finished with 13 hits but committed the games only error.

Lyndon Weaver led the Drakes with three hits, three runs and four RBI. Alan Alonso added two hits and five RBI, including a home run, while Neil Boudreau went 4-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Tucker Burton contributed three hits and three RBI, and Joseph Starick had two hits and one RBI.

Dublins Kyle Montebon went 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Meltavis Robertson also collected three hits and drove in one run. Jon Collins had two hits, including a double, and Saul Razo added one RBI.

Dan Clemens earned the win for Marysville after allowing 12 hits and four earned runs in seven innings with three strikeouts and one walk. Mike Stellmack and Tim Nichols each worked a scoreless inning in relief. Robertson took the loss for Dublin after surrendering 10 hits and 11 runs, eight earned, in 2 1/3 innings.
