Dublin Leprechauns Edge Marysville Drakes 13-12

June 21 2023 The Dublin Leprechauns held off the Marysville Drakes 13-12 in a high-scoring game at Bryant Field. Dublin collected 13 hits and overcame five errors while Marysville finished with 12 hits and one error.

Dublin built a 6-0 lead with a six-run second inning and added another run in the third. Marysville answered with seven runs in the bottom of the third to tie the game, then moved ahead with two runs in the fifth and another two in the sixth. Dublin scored three runs in the sixth to pull within one before the Drakes added a run in the eighth. The Leprechauns responded with three runs in the ninth to secure the win.

Kyle Montebon led Dublin with three hits, three runs and five RBIs. Josue Rivera added three hits and three RBIs, while Kairee Tekra had two hits, scored three runs and drove in two. Kyler LeRoux contributed two hits and an RBI. For Marysville, Jalen Gordon went 3-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs, while Tomas Moreno and Evan Blum each recorded two hits and two RBIs.

Albert Dominguez earned the win for Dublin after allowing five runs, four earned, on five hits in six innings with four walks and two strikeouts. Mike Stellmack took the loss for Marysville, surrendering three runs on five hits in two innings while striking out three and walking two. Dublins pitching staff recorded seven strikeouts, and Marysvilles pitchers totaled 11.
