Marysville Drakes Roll Past Dublin Leprechauns 15-2

June 8 2023 The Marysville Drakes scored 15 runs on 11 hits and defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 15-2 at Bryant Field. Dublin finished with four hits and three errors while Marysville committed two errors.

Marysville took control with five runs in the first inning and added four in the second. The Drakes scored three runs in both the fourth and fifth innings to extend the lead to 15-0 before Dublin scored twice in the sixth.

Evan Blum led Marysville with three hits four runs and four RBI. Erik Mitchell also collected three hits including a double a triple and a home run while driving in four runs. Earl Johnson added a home run and three RBI and Ergin Perovic contributed one RBI.

Rodrigo Sanchez earned the win after allowing three hits and two runs over six innings. He walked five and struck out six. Carson Stephens completed the game with three scoreless innings allowing one hit and striking out five. Dublin starter Mike Rios took the loss after surrendering eight hits and 12 runs over 3.1 innings.
